Promotes the Louisiana strawberry industry by increasing production and quality through marketing and research.
The purpose of the Strawberry Marketing Board is to promote the Louisiana strawberry industry by increasing production and quality through marketing and research; expand the market through promotion; increase the consumption of Louisiana strawberries through advertising, promotion and marketing; and educate producers, distributors, retailers and consumers with educational information on the nutritional and health value of strawberries.
