Louisiana Revised Statute 3:4621 states “No person may operate as a registered service agency, a registered service person, or as a weighmaster until he is licensed as such as provided for in this section.”
Louisiana Revised Statute 3:4607 requires Weights and Measures inspectors to inspect and test all scanning devices to ensure that prices are posted for items offered for sale and the prices are accurate.
LAC 7:XXXV:117 requires that prices be correctly and accurately posted to ensure the consumer knows how much the seller is asking for the product.
