Industrial hemp reporting
Stay compliant with required reporting for industrial hemp production and acquisition
Types of reporting
Before any industrial hemp seed or propagating stock is shipped into Louisiana, it must be approved by LDAF.
First planting report
Within 15 days following the first day of each planting, complete a first report of planting . If you do not intend to plant at one of your approved locations, report as “No Planting.”
Harvest report
At least several days prior to harvesting, submit a harvest report for each planting address. LDAF will then contact you about collecting samples. Harvest is not allowed until you receive approval from LDAF.
Crop acreage report
Hemp growers and seed producers are required to file acreage reports with their local FSA office. Learn about crop acreage reporting .
Quarterly report
On or before the end of each quarter, submit a quarterly planning and distribution report .
Annual report
On or before November 15, submit an annual production report .
Destruction report
At least several days prior to destructing a field, greenhouse, or indoor growing area, submit a destruction report . Destruction is not allowed until you receive approval from LDAF.
