Vendor or farmers market registration
Get certified to accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program payments
Louisiana's farmers market nutrition programs make fresh local Louisiana produce accessible to qualified low income senior citizens and WIC recipients. And we're always looking for farmers to become vendors.
In addition to helping seniors and WIC recipients access fresh produce and honey (for seniors only), these programs offer farms access to a new revenue pool.
It's not complicated, and the certification is free... all you have to do is apply.
Once approved, we will contact you to schedule a training on the program and its payment process.
You'll be asked to review the 2024 FMNP Farmer Handbook .
After training, you will get login information for the SoliMarket Register app and a sign to display at your booth or stand.
The system works just like a debit card, which means you'll get paid quickly and conveniently (nothing to process or turn in).
You'll be added to a directory that participants reference when looking for locations to spend their dollars.
To get started, review and complete the farmer participation agreement .
